Kettle Remote collects nothing about you.
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice, because "we value your privacy" is easy to write and worth nothing.
The app talks to one thing: your kettle, on your own Wi-Fi network. It finds the kettle by asking the network for it, then holds a direct connection to it while you're using the app.
There is no server behind Kettle Remote. Nothing you do in the app is sent to the developer or to anyone else, because there is nowhere for it to be sent. The app works with your internet connection unplugged.
Everything the app remembers stays on your phone:
Deleting the app deletes all of it. Clearing the statistics in Settings deletes the boil history immediately.
There is no sign-up and no login. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It does not know who you are, and no advertising identifier is read or used.
The app includes no crash-reporting service. If a crash report reaches the developer at all, it is because you turned on sharing with Apple or Google at the operating-system level, and it comes through them in anonymous form. That setting is yours and can be changed on your phone at any time.
The app is a kettle control. It has no user accounts, no content and no communication features, and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
If a future version ever collects anything, this page will say so before that version is released, and the app's store listing will be updated to match.
